The New Georgia Project was launched in 2014 with the critical mission of engaging its state’s growing and increasingly diverse population in the political conversation. But a few years into its successful work, the organization felt that its website and logo weren’t set up to actively draw in and engage new users. It turned to Kingdom Branding for a redesign.

Our Design Story

Prior to us stepping in, the New Georgia Project’s logo and website only used purple and white. We loved the power and intensity behind purple, but we upgraded the look by contrasting it with energetic orange, the color of Georgia’s beloved peach.

Engagement

With inclusion and engagement as its main mission, the New Georgia Project’s website needed to be a place where users could easily take action. We reworked the site’s layout to improve user experience and make engagement easy, adding a sign-up field for email updates to the front page. We also placed the slogan “I am Georgia” front and center to inspire visitors to be invested in their home state.
